其实，这种矛盾现象在生活中是大量存在的。我们一方面都在埋怨环境被污染，可是我们自己又何尝不是在污染环境呢!比如，我们一方面在大声疾呼抽烟有害健康，而另一方面又在大批量地生产和销售香烟。我们一方面大力提倡不乱丢垃圾，另一方面我们在吃棒冰时往往随便地将包装纸扔在地上。又比如，有些厂的老板把厂房装饰得美丽豪华，可是背地里却把污水、废水偷偷地源源不断地往河里排放……所以，尽管我们天天在宣传环境意识，可是污染环境，危害生物的现象仍然屡禁不止。

为什么会有这么多矛盾现象呢?我认为，关键在于很多人没有重视环境保护。埋怨别人污染了环境，恰恰忘记了自己也在污染环境!所以在宣传保护环境时，还要加上“从我做起!”这后半句。使环保意识真正在我们每个人的头脑里扎下根，使我们的所作所为时刻都在考虑保护环境。

但愿可怜的长颈鹿不再无辜地病死，但愿它的死能唤醒我们许多人的良知!

环境保护这一术语，自1972年联合国人类环境会议后，已被广泛采用。到目前，环保更已成了人人嘴边常谈的话题。

从1956年的综合利用工程废物处理方针，20世纪60年代末的三废处理和回收利用概念到20世纪70年代的环境保护，这一科学概念，重视环保，在政府间尤为体现，但很显然环保的下移还未见成效，环保市民，环保社会，来日方长。

总觉得环境保护离我们很远，对它的概念理解也是片面的。认为环保就是做好当下的执行，现有的保护措施，处理问题即可。把政策和它的实施并未粘连在一起，把政策挂在嘴边，却自己没有付出行动。

“我在西藏捡垃圾着”一热门话题让我看到了环保的背后。草原、悬崖、河沟、林子。首先入目的是混着泥土生长的垃圾。而捡垃圾的志愿者在找找垃圾藏身的地方边缘人员稀少，清理垃圾也是难上加难，环卫工人清理了干道，但是犄角旮旯里的垃圾带，巨型垃圾坑却在危险“生长”，只能靠人为来捡拾。垃圾多了又少了，捡垃圾的速度赶不上垃圾增长的速度，但是捡了就会一年比一年少，志愿者的行动，就是为了蓝天下的雪山，纯洁无瑕。

谁在污染世界上最后的净土？答案显而易见，而人为与不为该如何作为就是问题的关键。

对于我们永寿县城来说，这种现象也并不陌生，各种村落小巷间经不起人细细审查。不留意就会看到垃圾，景区里也是大小各布，种类繁多。抛开公路马路那真正纯粹自然的乡间小路，田间小道反而成了垃圾的聚集地，走着走着就随手乱扔垃圾的“中国式”扔垃圾，传染性也是令人瞠目结舌，最让人震惊的是漠视无知，漠视规矩，漠视垃圾桶，假装对自己错误的行为的无知。

要想真正落实环保，就先得从人的思想素质教育上去，让人主动的行动起来。

可能在县城上中学的同学都会记得这样的一次经历初中时候，学校后门有一条小路是无人居住，但却又是放学回家的必经之路，好巧不巧，这条路的深处也就是学校后门处有很多家林立分部的小商铺，小路很长，尽头才有垃圾箱，那么素质低下的同学也就理所当然的把沿途当成了垃圾回收站，这条路的彩色风景带，风光一时。学校了解情况后迅速作出决定，对同学进行了有关环境方面的教育，并开展了垃圾捡拾活动。跟平常的活动相比，它意义最大处就是在把这件事真正做到了延续植根让同学在参与的过程中对自己的行为重新认识。

能够有了正确的思想认识，主动环保的意识觉醒，那么环保才是真正的深入人心。

环保谋事在人，成事也在人。当美丽永寿，美丽中国，真的因为有你时，绝望的垃圾才不会久留，环保才会绽放美丽的光彩！
