说到这里，我想起了这样一句话:有的人活着，他已经死了;有的人死了，他还活着。生命的意义在于活着，那么活着的意义又是什么呢?当然不是为了活着而活着，答案只有两个字，奉献!我们可以设想一下，不付出、不创造、不追求，这样的青春必然在似水年华中渐渐老去，回首过往，没有痕迹，没有追忆，人生四处弥漫着叹息。我想，这绝对不是我们存在的意义。古往今来，有无数能人志士在自己的青春年华就已经成就了不朽的人生，在这里我来不及一一列举。

说实话，×年前，我刚来工作的时候也有过失落和茫然，因为工作环境恶劣，空气中到处弥漫着灰尘，感觉现实不尽如人意，感觉离曾经的梦想总是有一些距离，一度陷入困惑之中。可是，青春的我是一把刚刚铸好的刀，不容得你有片刻的等待和迟疑。我决不能眼睁睁看着这把刀慢慢氧化，失去光泽，随即斑驳、锈蚀、风化，最后成为一块废铁。我告诉自己，如果你是金子，到哪都能发光，只要你斗志昂扬的面对生活、面对工作，你就会有所获得。青春是学习的季节，青春是奋斗的岁月，不要停止我们前进的步伐，因为青春的路正长。有空的时候静下心来好好看看书，回头想想自己走过的路，为自己的人生做好一个规划，把自己的理想铭刻在心中，做一个甘于寂寞，敢于创新、干劲十足的年青人。

though self-confident people do believe in themselves, they donsquo;t try to suffocate others with their ideas or beliefs. they are confident in what they know not only because they read, learn and think but also because they respect their instinct, intuition and the unique body of knowledge that theysquo;ve developed by living life. they realize that one doesn't have to be labeled an expert to believe in one's own truths.
